Rectangular cardboard display board mounted with four posters. Each poster consists of a sepia toned photographic image of a woman or women below which is brown text that lists their names, life dates, a quote from them, and a brief description of their work and achievements. The posters are titled, "Emma Goldman", "Elizabeth Cady Stanton - Susan B. Anthony", "Anais Nin", and "Sojourner Truth". The posters are affixed to the board with black tape. The front of the board is covered in clear plastic which is taped at the back of the board. There are additional sections of cardboard and foamcore attached to the back of the board. This display board was created and used by Carlton A. Funn Sr. as part of his exhibition, "The History and Culture of Minorities", later named "National / International Cultural Exhibits ("NICE"). |
