Description |
Rectangular cardboard display board mounted with four pages from a book entitled, "Catch me the moon, Daddy" by William Kaufman. The pages consist of two poems in black text and two color photographic images of young children. The two pages at the top of the board consist of a poem entitled, "Black Crow" from Thailand, and an image of a young dancing girls. The two pages at the bottom of the board consist of a poem entitled, "Afsana-Sisana" from Afghanistan and an image of a young girl. The pages have a cream background with a woven pattern. The pages are numbered 16 to 19. On the right side of pages 17 and 19 there is a colorful decorative border of abstract repeated shapes. The front of the board is covered in clear plastic which is taped at the back. This display board was created and used by Carlton A. Funn Sr. as part of his exhibition, "The History and Culture of Minorities", later named "National / International Cultural Exhibits ("NICE"). |
