Description |
Rectangular cardboard display board mounted with a poster entitled, "The Deportations". The poster consists of a black and white photographic image of a line of people filing into a building. There is a caption at the bottom of the poster which begins, "Uprooted from their homes, millions of Jews were deported to concentra- / tion camps where they awaited further horrors…" The title is in white text on a black background at the bottom of the poster. The poster is part of an exhibition series on the Holocaust that was produced and distributed by the Anti-Defamation League of B'nai B'rith. The poster is marked number "12". The front of the board is covered in clear plastic which is taped at the back. This display board was created and used by Carlton A. Funn Sr. as part of his exhibition, "The History and Culture of Minorities", later named "National / International Cultural Exhibits ("NICE"). |
