Description |
Rectangular cardboard display board mounted with a poster entitled, "National Asian Pacific American Month May, 2000". The poster consists of a color drawing of the Golden Gate Bridge within a Japanese landscape that includes a pagoda, and mountains. At the bottom of the poster is a band of gold with the text in red and black. Attached to the bottom of the poster is a metal pin badge with the same drawing and the yellow text, "NATIONAL ASIAN PACIFIC AMERICAN MONTH / MAY 2000". The poster was produced by Rod Enterprises. The front of the board is covered in clear plastic and the back is covered in wood design contact paper. This display board was created and used by Carlton A. Funn Sr. as part of his exhibition, "The History and Culture of Minorities", later named "National / International Cultural Exhibits ("NICE"). |
