Rectangular cardboard display board mounted with four posters of American women. The posters consist of a color photographic image with the woman's name in red text and a brief biography in black on a green background. The posters are for Beverly Sills, Sarah Caldwell, Pearl Bailey, and Maria Tallchief. The posters are part of a series entitled, "20th Century American Women" produced by The Instructor Publications, Inc. The front of the board is covered in clear plastic which is taped at the back of the board. This display board was created and used by Carlton A. Funn Sr. as part of his exhibition, "The History and Culture of Minorities", later named "National / International Cultural Exhibits ("NICE"). |
