Description |
Wooden-bodied drum with a hide drum head secured with wooden bands and sections of twine twisted and knotted together down the length the drum body. The cylindrical drum body tapers slightly at the head and narrower at the bottom. The drum body is hollow. There is a section of red cloth tied to one of the twine supports. There is evidence of a black substance on the twine at the base of the drum that may have helped to secure the twine in place. |
