Rectangular cardboard display board mounted with four posters entitled, "Luis Nogales", "Phillip D. Ortego", "Henry M. Ramirez", and "George I. Sanchez". The posters consist of a black and white drawing and brief biography in Spanish and English in black text on a white background. The poster for Sanchez is from a set of posters entitled, "A Portfolio of Outstanding Americans of Mexican Descent", and the posters for Nogales, Ortego and Ramirez are from a set entitled, "Chicanos Y Chicanas Prominentes". Both sets were produced by the Educational Consortium of America. The left side of the board is edged with black tape. The front of the board is covered in clear plastic which is taped at the back. This display board was created and used by Carlton A. Funn Sr. as part of his exhibition, "The History and Culture of Minorities", later named "National / International Cultural Exhibits ("NICE"). |
