Rectangular cardboard display board mounted with three posters entitled, "Metodo Para Sacar Libros Prestados" [Borrowing Library Books], "Archivo De Fichas" [Library Catalog], and "Clasificacion Decimal" [Decimal Classification]. On the first poster is a drawing of a young woman holding a library catalog card with bookcases in the background. On the second poster are two drawings of filing cabinet with a library card catalog. On the third poster is a black and white photographic image of books on a shelf. All of the posters have a yellow background and black text. The drawings are in black and white and there is additional explanatory text on each poster. The posters were produced by The Bilingual Materials Development Center. The posters are affixed to the board with black tape. The front of the board is covered in clear plastic and the back is covered in wood design contact paper. This display board was created and used by Carlton A. Funn Sr. as part of his exhibition, "The History and Culture of Minorities", later named "National / International Cultural Exhibits ("NICE"). |
