Framed black and white photograph entitled, "Recessional, St. Joseph Church," by Nina Tisara, May 1994. The photograph shows two young girls dressed in white walking back down the aisle towards the camera. Members of the clergy are walking behind them and the congregation is standing in the pews. A paper label attached to the back of the frame records the photograph's entry in "Del Ray Artisans Celebrate Alexandria!" The photograph is mounted in a cream mat and a silver-colored frame. The title, date and artist's name are handwritten in pencil on the reverse. |
