Description |
Rectangular cardboard display board mounted with a poster entitled, "Commodores". The poster consists of a black and white photographic image of the Commodores standing in a line and pointing their right arms. At the top of the poster are the signatures of the members of the group: Milan Williams, Thomas McClary, Ronald LaPread, Walter Orange "Clyde", Lionel Richtie, and William King Jr. The front of the board is covered in clear plastic and the back is covered in wood design contact paper. This display board was created and used by Carlton A. Funn Sr. as part of his exhibition, "The History and Culture of Minorities", later named "National / International Cultural Exhibits ("NICE"). |
