Rectangular printed paper poster entitled, "20. Recent Hispanic Immigrants to the U.S.". On one side of the poster is a color photographic image of a man on the phone, seated at an office desk with the title below in black text. The other side of the poster is printed with text. The title is in orange and the remaining text is black. The text is under three headings, "Questions About the Picture" with four questions about the image on the other side, "The Cuban Way of Helping" with a short story about a man arriving in the United States of America from Cuba, and "A SONG TO SING / Noche Tropical" with lyrics. The poster is from a series entitled, "Spanish America Yesterday and Today" by David C. Cook Publishing Co. This poster was used by Carlton A. Funn Sr. as part of his exhibition, "The History and Culture of Minorities", later named "National / International Cultural Exhibits ("NICE"). |
