Rectangular foamcore display board mounted with a page entitled, "World War II Memorial" from an article entitled, "Uncommon Valor, Common Virtue" from The Washington Times, dated May 21, 2004. The article consists of color drawings of the National World War II Memorial in Washington, D.C., showing the features of the memorial that honors both the Pacific and Atlantic campaigns. The front of the board is covered in clear plastic which is taped at the back. This display board was created and used by Carlton A. Funn Sr. as part of his exhibition, "The History and Culture of Minorities", later named "National / International Cultural Exhibits ("NICE"). |
