Rectangular cardboard display board mounted with four posters about the history of America during the Spanish-American War from a Documentary Photo Aids (DPA) series. The posters consist of black and white photographic images with a caption below. The front of the board is covered in wood design contact paper and clear plastic which is taped at the back. Handwritten on the back of the board in black ink, "F. / (1882-1950)" and in red ink, "1 of 2 / Spanish / Amer War / Period". This display board was created and used by Carlton A. Funn Sr. as part of his exhibition, "The History and Culture of Minorities", later named "National / International Cultural Exhibits ("NICE"). |
