Framed magazine mounted to display back cover with Coca-Cola advertisement, "Things Go Better with Coke", c.1964. It has a drawing of an African American man seated in a chair holding a crossword and a bottle of coke. An African American woman is seated on the arm of the chair with a dictionary on her lap and holding a bottle of Coke. The back of the chair is facing the viewer. There is a puppy in the foreground. The text reads, "Solutions go better refreshed. Coca-Cola, never too sweet, gives that special zing... refreshes best." Copyright 1964. |
