Double-sided public health awareness poster produced by the American Red Cross for their HIV/AIDS awareness program, 1992. The poster is printed on one side with the text, "The ruin of a nation begins in the / homes of its people / Ghanaian Proverb" and a color drawing by Washington, D.C.-based visual artist Damballah Dolphus Smith. The drawing depicts eight stylized homes with faces inside. The reverse of the poster is printed with information about the campaign, Ghana and the artist.
