Cardboard display board in six-sided shape mounted with color image of Vola Lawson, below which is a typed paper with a brief biography of the former City Manager, Vola Lawson and to the right is a flyer printed on yellow paper for a tribute to Lawson as part of the National Women's History Month events at the Charles Houston Community Center, on March 28, 1999. The documents are affixed to the board with black tape. The board is covered in wood design contact paper and the front of the board is covered in clear plastic. This display board was created and used by Carlton A. Funn Sr. as part of his exhibition, "The History and Culture of Minorities", later named "National / International Cultural Exhibits ("NICE"). |
