Description |
Yearbook for Parker-Gray High School, for the 1960-1961 school year. The cover is navy blue with a vinyl finish. On the cover is the text "THE ECHO" and a line drawing of two students heads wearing mortar boards, all in white. Embossed on the cover is the year 1961 and a circle with images of a lamp, laurel leaves and two blocks, as well as a geometric pattern of lines. On the back cover is a publisher's mark of a bird/dragon on a branch with a star embossed in the bottom right corner. The yearbook consists of 76 printed pages with a dedication to Mrs. Bernice J. Perry and black and white photographs of members of the school faculty and students, including photographs of classes and various student clubs and activities. There are 10 pages of advertisements. The endpapers have a repeating pattern of the same students' heads image as on the front cover in white on a blue background. Handwritten in ink on the inside cover is the text, "F. W. Chase / 5-8-61." The school principal, William Pitts, has signed his photograph and many of the seniors have signed their photographs as well. |
