Gray metal single drawer filing cabinet, manufactured by Steelmaster, Artsteel Co. Inc., New York. The single drawer filing cabinet was used by Moss H. Kendrix to house index cards with contact information collected by Kendrix, c1940-1970. The cabinet is marked, "GENERAL CONTACT CARDS" and ""Q" in ILLINOIS / Thru / "R" in MARYLAND." This is one of a set of seven drawers containing information on Kendrix's business contacts. The cards have been removed from the drawer and are stored separately. |
