Rectangular paper poster which consists of a color photographic image of a young woman from Trinidad and Tobago on the obverse. On the reverse of the poster is printed text and two drawings. The text is entitled, "Discovery Posters: Trinidad and Tobago" and consists of information about the island in a section entitled, "Fascinating Facts", and a series of classroom activities, including a drawing of a map of Trinidad and Tobago and surrounding islands to label, suggested discussion and story topics, and a recipe for "Peanut Punch" with a drawing of a boy and girl with a punch bowl. The poster has a sticker affixed that reads, "HAMMETT'S $1.99" The poster was produced by Trend Enterprises Inc. This poster was used by Carlton A. Funn Sr. as part of his exhibition, "The History and Culture of Minorities", later named "National / International Cultural Exhibits ("NICE"). |
