Cardboard display board on which are taped three sheets of typed paper advertising "The History and Culture of Black Americans" exhibition at three venues in Washington, D.C. The first is a green poster advertising the exhibition at Park View Elementary School, February 22-25, 1983. The second is a white poster advertising the exhibition at the Coast Guard Headquarters, February 7, 1983. The third is a green poster advertising the exhibition at Marie H. Reed Learning Center, February 22-26, 1983. The rectangular display board is covered in plastic and is backed with wood patterned contact paper. This display board was created and used by Carlton A. Funn Sr. as part of his exhibition, "The History and Culture of Minorities", later named "National / International Cultural Exhibits ("NICE"). |
