Description |
Rectangular foamcore display board mounted with two posters. The top poster is entitled, "James Bond". It consists of a brown background and a brief biography in white text on the left and a black and white photographic image of James Bond seated by a window and dressed in uniform. This poster was produced by the Kentucky Commission on Human Rights as part of "A Gallery of Great Black Kentuckians". The lower poster is entitled, "Julian Bond". It consists of a green background and a brief biography in black text on the right and a black and white photographic image of Bond on the right. This poster was produced by The Associated Publishers, Inc. The documents are affixed to the board with blue tape and the board is edged in blue tape. The front of the board is covered in clear plastic and the back is covered in wood design contact paper. This display board was created and used by Carlton A. Funn Sr. as part of his exhibition, "The History and Culture of Minorities", later named "National / International Cultural Exhibits ("NICE"). |
