Color photograph entitled, "Percy Morris with his Dog Shorty," by Carol Siegel, 1985-1986. The photograph shows a man wearing a brown coat and blue baseball cap seated on a brick wall outside a building with a small white dog in his lap. The photograph is housed in a silver-colored metal frame with a glass front and a hanging wire attached at the back. This photograph was taken by Siegel as part of a project grant-funded by the Alexandria Commission on the Arts, to document the Parker-Gray Historic District's Black community, 1985-1986. |
