Color photograph entitled, " Something Good is Going to Happen to You," by Carol Siegel, 1985-1986. The photograph shows a window with a sign in it reading, "Something GOOD is / going to happen to you" and a copy of "The Ten Commandments". The window has a white painted wooden sash frame, and a white blind is pulled partially closed. This photograph was taken by Siegel as part of a project, grant-funded by the Alexandria Commission on the Arts, to document the Parker-Gray Historic District's Black community, 1985-1986. |
