Description |
Rectangular handwritten paper poster entitled, "Eight Parts of Speech". The title is written in green ink at the top of the poster. Below this the poster is divided into nine sections with black lines. Eight of the sections have a heading of a part of speech with a brief description and a sentence illustrating the part. The last section is blank. The parts of speech are noun, verb, adjective, interjection, preposition, adverb, conjunction, and pronoun. The sentences describe a class of schoolchildren collecting cans for recycling. The text is in green, red, blue and black. The poster has a black border. This poster was created and used by Carlton A. Funn Sr. as part of his exhibition, "The History and Culture of Minorities", later named "National / International Cultural Exhibits ("NICE"). |
