Brown fabric covered notebook with printed text, "RECORD" and handwritten text in red ink, "Philharmonic Club / of / Roberts Chapel / M.E. Church / Washington [indecipherable] / Conference / Alexandria District / South Washington St [indecipherable] / Gibbon + Franklin etc., / Alexandria, Va." Handwritten in red ink inside the front cover is the text "The Philharmonic Club / of / Roberts Chapel M.E. Ch. / organized at home of Mrs. Sarah / [Derrick or Daniels] Gray, 8 Duke st, / the mother of Mrs. Anna Gray / Nickens." A handwritten content pages lists membership roll, financial roll, minutes, financial record, and tellers list. The minutes are from January 18, 1937 to January 20, 1941. |
