Rectangular foamcore display board mounted with a copy of an article from the Alexandria Gazette Package, August 17-23, 2006. The article includes an image of Earl Lloyd during "Earl Lloyd Day" celebrations in 2001 at the Charles Houston Recreation Center and gives a biography of Lloyd's career and quotes from "Earl Lloyd Day". The article and the board are edged in green tape. The board is covered in clear plastic and has wood design contact paper on the back. This display board was created and used by Carlton A. Funn Sr. as part of his exhibition, "The History and Culture of Minorities", later named "National / International Cultural Exhibits ("NICE"). |
