Description |
Scrapbook containing newspaper clippings, programs from school-sponsored activities, greeting cards, certificates, a photograph of Ms. Davis at graduation, and other ephemera from Ms. Davis's high school career. The pages have annotations and captions written by Davis. Other students have signed their names on the inside of the back cover. The front cover is printed with drawings of teenagers with rows of first names printed below. The book is bound with black string. A blue ribbon printed with the text, "OFFICIAL" and a safety pin fastening is unattached. It appears to have been originally attached to the page with a newspaper article entitled, "1957 Schoolboy All-Star Teams". Some of the scrapbook pages have been removed, probably by the owner. |
