Rectangular foamcore display board mounted with six documents about baseball player Jackie Robinson. These consist of two large black and white text documents that give a brief biography of Robinson, a black and white photographic image of Robinson's "Time Magazine" front cover, a document with a brief biography and a color photographic image of Robinson, a document with brief biographical facts and a document with a brief biography and color drawings of three United States postage stamps featuring Robinson. The documents are affixed to the board with blue tape and the board is edged in red and blue tape. The front of the board is covered in clear plastic which is taped at the back of the board. This display board was created and used by Carlton A. Funn Sr. as part of his exhibition, "The History and Culture of Minorities", later named "National / International Cultural Exhibits ("NICE"). |
