Description |
Rectangular cardboard display board mounted with a poster entitled, "Pennsylvania Iroquois Confederacy". Below the title are two black and white drawings of Cornplanter and Red Jacket with a brief biography printed in the black text below each. On the left side of the poster is a green drawing of a corn plant and on the right side is a tobacco plant. At the bottom of the poster is the text "SENECA" in white on a green background. At the bottom of the poster is a logo with the text, "AMERICAN REVOLUTION BICENTENNIAL / 1776-1976". The board is edged with black tape. The front of the board is covered in clear plastic and the back is covered in wood design contact paper. This display board was created and used by Carlton A. Funn Sr. as part of his exhibition, "The History and Culture of Minorities", later named "National / International Cultural Exhibits ("NICE"). |
