Bi-fold rectangular cardboard display board mounted with two posters entitled, "Espana: Los Grandes Maestros" [Spain: The Grand Masters] and "La Pintura Puertoriquena" [Puerto Rican Painting]. The poster on the left panel consists of black and white copies of eight paintings including works by Diego Velazquez and Pablo Picasso, each surrounded by a gold colored frame, on a cream colored background. The title is in script in black at the top of the poster. The poster on the right panel consists of brown toned copies of nine paintings with a drawn hand and paintbrush in the bottom right corner. The poster has a yellow background and the title is in script in black in the center. The posters were produced by The Bilingual Materials Development Center. The two panels of the display board are hinged together with black tape. The front and back of both panels of the board are covered in wood design contact paper and the fronts are also covered in clear plastic. This display board was created and used by Carlton A. Funn Sr. as part of his exhibition, "The History and Culture of Minorities", later named "National / International Cultural Exhibits ("NICE"). |
