Rectangular cardboard display board mounted with yellow card with a handwritten title, "A HIERARCHY OF NEEDS - / MASLOW'S BASIC + GROWTH NEEDS". Below this are six rectangles of white card on which are typed words or descriptions of need. From a central description there are five arrows to the remaining five cards that detail specific areas of needs. The areas are handwritten above the cards as, "Physiological", "Esteem", "Belongingness + Love", "Safety", and "Self-Actualization". The handwritten text is in black and red. The board is edged in black. The front of the board is covered in clear plastic which is taped at the back and the back of the board is covered in black paper. This display board was created and used by Carlton A. Funn Sr. as part of his exhibition, "The History and Culture of Minorities", later named "National / International Cultural Exhibits ("NICE"). |
