Description/Scope and Content |
Report on Alexandria City Public Schools secondary schools, October 17, 1978. The report gives an overview of the city and various statistics related to the secondary-level (middle and high) public schools in Alexandria: T. C. Williams, Francis C. Hammond, George Washington, Minnie Howard, John Adams, and Parker-Gray. The stated goal of the report is to "determine what changes, if any, can be made to affect a decrease in the cost of education while at the same time continue to provide and enhance the quality of education provided to our City's students." The report is listed as three attachments but it is not known what larger project they were part of. The speech to the School Board catalogued as BHA1998.01.04.03.10 references fact sheets on the secondary schools being presented at the prior School Board meeting, possibly referring to this report. |
