Letter from Amos Clark, Central District Vice-President, The Richmond Civic Council to Annie B. Rose, President of the Alexandria Civic Council, congratulating Rose on the work in Alexandria and informing her of the work in Richmond, dated June 14, 1948. Clark comments on the appointment of the first Black member of Richmond City Council and expresses his hope that Alexandria will soon elect their first Black member of City Council as well. |
