Newspaper article entitled, "'Messiah' Gets Well-Deserved Ovation" by Kay Kusibab, [December 1975]. The article includes a black and white photographic image of the Johnstown Symphony Orchestra and Chorale and Greater Johnstown High School Chorus in performance. The following text in the article is underlined in red ink, "The soloist did not need help, however, in projecting their voices throughout the auditorium. Only Ben Holt, bass, seemed to have difficulty coming across. His minor projection problem was far overshadowed by his otherwise outstanding performance. His great vocal control easily contended with the strenuous passages." |
