Rectangular foamcore display board mounted with three pages from an article entitled, "Shelia Johnson: America's First Black Female Billionaire" from "The Metro Herald", dated March 9, 2007. The article includes a brief biography of the BET co-founder, Shelia Johnson, and includes details of her wedding to Arlington County Circuit Court Judge William T. Newman. The documents are affixed with blue tape. The board is edged with red tape. The front of the board is covered in clear plastic which is taped at the back. This display board was created and used by Carlton A. Funn Sr. as part of his exhibition, "The History and Culture of Minorities", later named "National / International Cultural Exhibits ("NICE"). |
